ASICS has launched the "ASICS Institute of Sport Science Europe (ISS Europe)" as a new research and development department within ASICS Europe B.V., its European regional headquarters. This follows the establishment of ISS America in December 2025, and represents a further step in ASICS's ongoing efforts to strengthen its global research and development framework.
In conjunction with this, ASICS has entered into a strategic partnership with HumanFab, an advanced center for sports research facilities and specialized expertise located in Aix-en-Provence, France.
Through this partnership, ASICS will leverage HumanFab's state-of-the-art research facilities—including one of the world's leading indoor tennis court laboratories—to enhance the collection of athlete data in real competitive environments. This collaboration will also deepen ASICS's long-standing research into human movement and performance, further advancing the development of high-value products that contribute to improving athletes' competitive performance.

ASICS Corporation has established a research base in California, USA, to accelerate global innovation, naming it "ASICS Institute of Sport Science America LLC."
In conjunction with this, ASICS has agreed to a partnership with the University of Michigan, launching the "ASICS-MICHIGAN SPORT INNOVATION CENTER."
Through this partnership, leveraging the University of Michigan's world-class comprehensive research capabilities and running environment as a foundation, ASICS aims to drive innovation that contributes to athlete performance by promoting its Global Integrated Enterprise (GIE) research framework.
