ASICS 2025 WELL-BEING REPORT RELEASED Further improving wellbeing through health management

ASICS Corporation has published the “ASICS 2025 Well-being Report ” on the corporate website, introducing the progress and the latest measures being taken towards various health-related goals for the employees.

As a company that supports the health of all its customers and as creators of valuable products and services, we place the utmost importance on the physical and mental health of our employees.

The promotion of health management is directly linked to the strengthening of human capital, and protecting the health and job satisfaction of employees leads to the enhancement of corporate value. Through the use of health data and information disclosure, we aim to promote transparency in our initiatives.

As part of these efforts, we have been publishing the Well-being report every year since 2018.

In 2024, under the policy of “improving and maintaining health literacy for every employee,” we implemented measures under five key items: (1) expand health management and promotion system, (2) support improvement of health literacy, (3) support improvement of lifestyle habits, (4) strengthen mental health support and (5)workplace environment where diverse employees can thrive. Through the implementation of these initiatives, we aim to achieve “Sound Mind, Sound Body” for our employees.

Some of the key points in the report as summarized below including:
Absenteeism and presenteeism is better than in the previous year, and employee productivity has improved.

The report also includes a summary of the main initiatives for 2024, introducing measures implemented to address more diverse needs, such as improving health literacy and incorporating DE&I perspectives.

In addition, we are also promoting the use of data health, including the use of health management systems to centralize data to visualize health conditions and provide appropriate support.

(Main Initiatives)
· Promoting exercise habits by holding walking events and in-house sports festivals
· Prevention of lifestyle-related diseases through dietary habit improvement programs and smoking cessation challenges
· Supporting mental health through ongoing mental health seminars
· Health literacy education in gender generation
· Improvement of health checkup and secondary health checkup rates through the introduction of a health management system

Our company's founding philosophy is "A Sound Mind In A Sound Body". In order to embody this philosophy, we will continue to promote and expand health management by conducting ongoing health promotion activities with the aim of achieving “well-being” (a state of good physical, mental and social health) of our employees and their families.
