Ali Keys, Head of Design for Global Running Apparel at ASICS, explained the inspiration and design process behind the new line of “Limited Series“. "This collection is a vibrant fusion of traditional Japanese Kabuki art and the latest in athletic apparel technology. We’ve printed these artistic inspirations directly onto the athlete tanks and extended this visual narrative into each piece of the collection, making each piece a canvas that tells a story. By using bright colors to tape the seams or accentuating features like zippers, we enhance the functionality while maintaining aesthetic fidelity."
The new “Limited Series” is a celebration of ASICS' heritage and a forward-looking journey that honors its origins while embracing the future. ASICS invites runners to experience this unique fusion of art, culture, and athletic excellence - a synergy only ASICS can deliver. Packed with Japanese Kabuki art and ASICS’ technology, the items are now available.
