CHARACTERISTICS
WET GRIP Rubber™ provides a strong grip on ground that is wet with rain and courts that are wet with sweat.
MATERIAL
By blending raw rubber that is mainly used for studless snow tires as the main material, WET GRIP Rubber™ provides an improved grip. Furthermore, different materials such as chaff added to the sole rubber penetrate the water layer, increasing the contact area of the sole.

BACKGROUND
Wet ground is slippery because of the water layer created on the surface of the ground. The water layer between the outer sole and the ground reduces the contact area of the sole and causes slippage. Decreased grip not only degrades performance, but also causes injuries. The WET GRIP Rubber™ has therefore been developed to provide an excellent grip even on surfaces that are wet with rain or sweat.
