ASICS LAUNCHES GELSAGA™ SOU THE LATEST IN THE GELSAGA SERIES IS HERE

ASICSTIGER™ brand launches the GELSAGA™ SOU model, integrating GEL™ technology into the authentic heritage of the classic design

Following the comeback of ASICS cult classic, the GELSAGA™ shoe, earlier this year, the brand has announced the launch of the latest iteration: GELSAGA™ SOU.

Born in 1991, the GELSAGA™ model combines GEL™ technology cushioning, compression moulded EVA midsoles and lightweight upper. Complete with new style updates, the GELSAGA™ SOU shoe takes inspiration from the popular GELSAGA™ OG, which combines ASICS original GEL™ technology with street style.

SOU is the literal translation of ‘window’ in　Japanese Kanji. This is reflected in the new shoe as it has GEL™ technology inserted into its midsole for an elevated structure that creates a ‘window’ effect. This new structure increases the visibility of the GEL™ technology whilst maintaining a light and bouncy feel. The awareness of space in the GEL™ makes for a comfortable and cushioned sensation for the wearer.
