ASICS Establishes Local Affiliate in Colombia

ASICS Corporation (Headquarters: Kobe, Japan; President and CEO: Motoi OYAMA) announces the establishment of a local affiliate in Bogota, Colombia. The new company has been created to bolster sales of ASICS products.

Sales of ASICS merchandise in Colombia have in the past been conducted through ASICS America (California) and sales through local retail agents have been growing. Establishing the local affiliate will allow ASICS to further bolster sales activities and expand local relations in order to increase sales of ASICS products in the region. The local affiliate will also be able to more closely manage marketing activities in Colombia in order to build an even stronger brand.
