ASICS Supports 2016 Kumamoto Earthquake Relief Efforts

ASICS offers its deepest condolences for the lives lost and homes damaged from the recent earthquakes in Kumamoto Prefecture, Japan.

ASICS Corporation (Headquarters: Kobe, Japan; President and CEO: Motoi OYAMA) and ASICS Japan Corporation (Tokyo, Japan; President: Manabu NISHIMAE) have pledged to contribute a total of JPY10 million to support the survivors of the recent earthquakes in Kumamoto and for reconstruction activities in the stricken region.

In addition, contributions will be solicited from all ASICS Group employees as well as at ASICS retail outlets throughout the country. Efforts will be made to work with local governments to send food, water, sanitary goods, and other emergency supplies to the disaster areas.  ASICS will also consider sending ASICS products as support goods.

ASICS and ASICS Japan will continue to consider offering as much support as possible.

We offer our prayers to those affected by the Kumamoto disaster for the earliest possible recovery.
