Partnering with suppliers and workers
Like most businesses in our industry, ASICS depends on a complex global supply chain that includes a wide range of stakeholders with an interest in our business. These range from NGOs and other brands and research partners to factories, material suppliers, the workers employed by these factories and trade unions.
It is our aim to engage with all of these stakeholders in open, ongoing dialogue and mutually beneficial partnership. By doing so we can work together towards a better, more sustainable industry for everyone concerned.
While all of our stakeholders have an important role to play in the sustainability of our business, ASICS pays particular attention to its partnerships with suppliers and their workers as fair business practices and improvement of labor standards are priority subjects for us. We conduct our corporate activities on the basis of clear codes of conduct that are based on internationally recognized standards and conventions. We seek to work only with business partners that share our commitment to sustainability and fair labor practices.
