ASICS Continues to Evolve GEL-KAYANO™ Performance Running Footwear Line GEL-KAYANO 24 features enhanced stability and comfort for long distance runs

 True sport performance brand ASICS, today announced the launch of its newest iteration of the GEL-KAYANO footwear series, the GEL-KAYANO 24. Designed with the performance runner in mind, the GEL-KAYANO 24 incorporates a host of ASICS technologies, including MetaClutch™, which was first introduced on ASICS’ most innovative long distance running shoe, MetaRun in 2016.

For over 20 years the GEL-KAYANO series has provided runners constant stability and comfort for runners across a wide range of levels. For the 24th iteration of the shoe, the medial side on the GEL-KAYANO 24 incorporates sloped Dynamic DUOMAX™ Support system to maintain stability from the first strides to the final miles of a run.

The MetaClutch technology allows for the construction and material of the exoskeleton external heel counter, with built-in memory foam lining, to perfectly wrap the lateral and medial side of the ankle and provide individuals a more personalized heel fit.

Lasting Comfort & Support

A redesigned jacquard mesh upper enhances fit and comfort, further improved by the Ortholite X-40 Sockliner, which features increased density to provide greater bounce back against the ground. The SpEVA™ 45 Lasting on the GEL-KAYANO 24 offers unparalleled upper support, and when combined with the visible forefoot and rearfoot GEL and FlyteFoam™ midsole, runners will receive even greater comfort on long distance runs. New patented structured panels [1] in the shoe’s upper offer additional foot support for long distance runs, especially useful for overpronators.
