Our people are our most valuable asset. We aim to inspire our colleagues through our corporate culture, so that personal development and corporate growth go hand-in-hand. Through our various Human Resources programs, we are creating a working environment that encourages diversity and respect for all, while enabling each employee to demonstrate individuality and creativity.

Staff surveys

Staff surveys help us understand how our employees see our organization and our role as an employer. We regularly conduct surveys involving employees at all levels of our business, in order to develop our employment practices and programs based on staff feedback.

Supporting personal development

Training is an important part of our personnel and organizational development strategy. To support development and promote competitiveness, we run training programs that cover employees at different levels across each department and function.

Our regional ASICS offices work closely together within a global competency structure that ensures global consistency within our organization while incorporating local needs and differences. Training programs cover a range of subjects including anti-harassment and diversity, new employee orientation, health and safety, management capacity building and specific functional skills development.

Encouraging healthy lifestyles

We have several programs in place designed to encourage ASICS employees to lead healthier lifestyles. Many of our larger offices have changing rooms, showers and a gym area that enable employees to engage in sport activities such as running, boot camp or yoga classes during lunch breaks and after work. In addition to this, we regularly organize sports days or other sport events that give employees a chance to have fun and be active with other colleagues outside the work environment.

We provide healthy food options in our canteens such as free fresh fruit. In some of our regions, a company contribution to sports club membership or classes forms part of our secondary benefits.
