MANAGING SUSTAINABILITY

SHARING RESPONSIBILITY AND SETTING PRIORITIES

Sustainability is a shared responsibility at ASICS, involving all company divisions and people at every level of our business.

Our Board of Directors has final responsibility for sustainability at ASICS. The Board is supported by our managers, who are responsible for making sustainability considerations a priority in our corporate objectives. Each core department integrates sustainability into its business strategy and processes.

Since 2004, ASICS Group has operated a CSR & Sustainability department, currently comprising both a global team and staff at regional levels. This department drives sustainability initiatives, manages progress against targets and engages with internal and external stakeholders.

Setting sustainability priorities

We have an evolving set of sustainability priorities so we can focus our efforts and set targets around the areas where we have the greatest impact. We set these priorities by listening to our stakeholders and identifying the issues of greatest concern to them, as well as through internal assessments and research.

Our approach is driven by our overall vision for sustainability, and underpinned by the ASICS Spirit that inspires and guides everything we do.
